The Role of Gifts

Gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations enable UMACC to expand our clinical services and training programs, and pilot new research projects.

Funding priorities for UMACC include:
  1. Making services more affordable and accessible
  2. Increasing our understanding of early communication development in young children at risk for developing autistic spectrum disorders
  3. Increasing early recognition and referrals

Clinic and Research Volunteers

Students or community members who are interested in learning about the research process or clinical assessment of autism may volunteer to do office and research work at UMACC. Student volunteers assist researchers and clinicians on projects such as data entry, inventory, helping visiting clients, maintaining equipment, and putting together materials for trainings and research studies.
