ADOS and ADI-R Onsite Training

Apply to receive ADOS or ADI-R Research Training at your site! A trainer will come to you to provide either an ADOS or an ADI-R Research Training workshop to up to 8 people.

Onsite ADOS or ADI-R Research Training

  • Prerequisites: For ADOS Research Training, all trainees must have completed the 2-day ADOS Training for Clinicians in-person workshop, either through UMACC or WPS. For ADI-R Research Training, no prerequisites.
  • Applications Available:
  • Please read and complete the materials below. We have provided the application forms in 2 formats for ease of use. The pdf version can be submitted automatically. It can also be printed. The Microsoft Word version will need to be printed and mailed or faxed, or you will have to save it and send it as an email attachment.
  • Registration Deadline:  Closed
  • Contact:  Jennifer Kimball, Research Assistant: jmariek@umich.edu

Through our grant from NIH/NIMH, we are able to provide one Research training workshop per year to a research project at their site. The workshop itself is free of charge--your group pays only for the trainer's travel and accommodations.

Applications for onsite training are available once per year. We usually are able to provide this training in Spring. We will work with your site to determine the exact dates. If you would like to be added to the mailing list to receive information about applying for an onsite training, please contact Jennifer Kimball, jmariek@umich.edu.

To apply for this training, you will need to complete the application when it becomes available and submit it with a cover letter addressing the following:

  • Description of research project, including how you will use the instrument
  • Timeline for your study, including when you will need to use the instrument
  • Why you cannot attend a workshop at UMACC or obtain one through WPS
  • Any other circumstances that add to the urgency of receiving training onsite

All applications are sent to an external review committee to determine who will receive the training.
