Clinical Practicum in Clinical Psychology

UMACC is one of the University of Michigan Clinical Practicum sites. UMACC has licensed clinical psychologists on staff, with expertise in diagnosis and intervention of Autistic Spectrum Disorders, who supervise the clinical training of Practicum students. Practicum students will work closely with their clinical supervisor during diagnostic evaluations, to begin to learn to administer and code diagnostic instruments, assess developmental skills and cognition, and learn consultation skills. Practicum students will also have opportunities to provide follow up intervention and participate in social skills groups for adults, adolescents, or toddlers.
